If you live in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Massechusets, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia or West Virginia Sheds Unlimited will delivery your chicken coop and run with their shed and garage delivery trucks. Outside of these areas and at times in some of these areas, the chicken coops and hen houses will be delivered via common carrier. When the portable chicen structure is delivered, you will be ready to keep your chickens at home and enjoy the delight of fresh eggs daily.
How many chicken fit in a chicken coop or hen house?
Sheds Unlimited recommends approximately two square feet per chicken including the nesting box as floor space. That means a 28"x42" chicken coop will hold 3-4 chickens and a 4'x5' chicken coop house with four nesting boxes would hold 10-12 chickens. It will also depend on whether or not you are placing feeders and a watering device inside the portable hen house.
Does Sheds Unlimited place the chicken coop where I want it?
If a Sheds Unlimited delivery truck does the chicken coop delivery, we will place it right on the spot of your choice as long as the site is accessible. However, if the backyard chicken coop is delivered via common carrier, we will drop the building on your property. If you wish to have it placed in a certain position, there will be an additional charge. If for some reason, the delivery truck cannot install the chicken coop, Sheds Unlimited will refund the extra charge.
What is the delivery cost if I buy a chicken coop with a shed?
Delivery cost for buying a portable chicken coop with a shed or garage purchase is $75.00 unless you are within 20 miles of the Sheds Unlimited home office. In that case, the delivery of your chicken coop is FREE!

No worries, if you are within 300 miles of our location in Gap, PA we have teams of hightly proficient employees who will come to your home and setup a coop in your backyard.
Delivery is free within the first twenty miles of our location. For questions regarding delivery beyond the first 20 miles or onsite setup call 717-442-3281 or email us at office@shedsunlimited.net
