Meet the Sheds Unlimited Tribe

Grandpa - Steve Stoltzfus Sr.
- Sheds Unlimited Founder and Owner

Long before Steve Sr was recognized as "grandpa," he and his wife had a vision of continuing the Amish and Mennonite tradition of working with their family. Rather than sending the five sons off to work for other local businesses, Sheds Unlimited was born while continuing work on the family farm. The energy of "grandpa" combined with the hard work of his five sons and other family friends have been the strength of our company over the twenty years of serving our customers. Steve also serves on the board of Christian Aid Ministries, an Amish-Mennonite run humanitarian orgainzation which provides aid to those in need following humanitarian crises and assistance to needy familes in many countries. From August of 2010 to May of 2011 Grandpa and Grandma are houseparents at Faith Builders Educational Programs where Steve is involved in maintance and Anna works in the Kitchen.

Steve Stoltzfus Jr.
- Business Manager

The second son of five, Steve Jr. uses his skills in managing the Sheds Unlimited Family. Steve is often found working in the office late into the evening to ensure all runs smoothly. His skill in managing the operations around our small facility is a key factor in ensuring that each customer is served according to Sheds Unlimited's high standards. Occasionally he will be found on a delivery or helping out with an on-sight setup. Besides his work at Sheds Unlimited, Steve also enjoys returning to Europe to spend time with friends he made while working at an the Nathaniel Christian Orphanage Farm in Romania. After spending 11 years in Romania Steve returned to the family business in 2006.

Chris Stoltzfus
- Webmaster

Although Chris enjoys traveling the world, studying Arabic and meeting people of other cultures, when he is back in the USA you might actually catch him in the Sheds Unlimited office. His primary job of ensuring the Sheds Unlimited website is up and running along with drawings for custom buildings are enough to keep him occupied when not in school or traveling. However, even when he is traveling or working throughout the Middle East, his job of ensuring customers have a pleasurable experience on the web continues. Chris is the middle son of five in the Stoltzfus family and was recently married. He and Sylvia are currently residing in Indiana where she was from. He continues his work for Sheds Unlimited from there.

Johnny Stoltzfus
- Production Department Manager

Johnny is the fourth son in the Stoltzfus tribe and has found his place in the Sheds Unlimited family for over ten years. His consistant job skills combined with a determination to provide a consistantly uniform product help make the Sheds Unlimited experience among the best in the industry. In 2008 Johnny was married to Gloria and they lived in the "daudy end" of the old family farmhouse which has remained in the family for several generations. Recently, they purchased a house in Lancaster City where they spend their spare time working with the Way of Jesus Ministries. Before he was married, Johnny spent several years working as a camp chief at Bald Eagle Wilderness Boys Camp School where he worked with troubled boys in a wilderness setting.

Bill (Wilmer) Lapp
- Finishing Department Manager

Bill is a son-in-law and brother-in-law to the Stoltzfus family. His wife, the oldest in the Stoltzfus family is a busy home-school mother of seven children. Since they live only one-half mile from the Sheds Unlimited manufacturing facility, Bill enjoys going home for lunch breaks and even finds himself helping out with the children's schooling. Since Bill has been with the company for around ten years, his skillful expertise is a great contribution to our small family workforce. If you visit the farm and manufacturing facility, you may be pleased to see a few of his energetic children running around and enjoying a day at grandpa's.

Levi (Pop) Lapp
- Finishing Department

Levi is the other grandpa in the Sheds Unlimited family. He is the father of Bill and mostly known around the shop as "Pop." Since he joined the Sheds Unlimited team in 2008, his grandsons have the priveledge of visiting the farm and seeing both of their grandpa's. Pop's great sense of humor is a real sense of enjoyment for the entire Sheds Unlimited family. Since he lives within a mile of the shop in the small village of White Horse, Levi usually enjoys his lunch break with his wife in their home. Along with this work here, Levi enjoys spending time with his eight children and their families which includes a growing number of grandchildren.

Vincent Beiler
- Production Department Assistant Manager

Vince is another family friend whose family spent several years working with Steve Jr. in Romania. Coming from a family of ten and now having a son of his own, Vince and his wife live in Lancaster City. He has been a member of the Sheds Unlimited team on and off during the years of his studies at Faith Builders Educational Programs and then joined the team full time after his graduation. His contribution to the team is a key factor in providing our customers with a quality product which can be delivered in a timely manner. Thank you Vince for your ongoing contribution to the Sheds Unlimited team.

Gideon King
- Production Department

Gideon comes from the local Amish community and has become a vibrant part of the Sheds Unlimited team in the shop and on the road. His love for hard work makes him a great asset on the long days when two and three car garages need to be assembled away from the manufacturing facility. Gideon is one who does all he can to work efficiently thus allowing Sheds Unlimited to provide their products at a reasonable price while offering a quaility product. His consisitency at work combined with a few Pennsylvania Dutch words of inspiration help make a long day on the job a good experience.

Andrew Zook
- Production Department

Andrew is one of the most recent additions to the Sheds Unlimited tribe. He joins us from the local Amish community and is quickly learning the ins and outs of the Shed building process. After working on the farm with his father and assisting in his small horse-shoeing shop, he joined our team in the spring of 2011. We are grateful for the contribution of Andrew on our growing team.

Levi Stoltzfus
- Production Department

Our second Levi joined the Sheds Unlimited production line in 2010. His ready smile, quick step and previous experience working in a local construction company make him a great asset to our company. He comes from the local Amish community and spends his early morning riding to work on his scooter. Levi's father has been fighting muscular sclerosis for the past several years leaving him (Levi) as the primary bread-winner for the family. We are certainly grateful for the contribution Levi brings to our growing family.

Mark Beachy
- Sales Department

Mark, and old family friend, is a new face in the Sheds Unlimited office as of 2011. After spending several years in Lancaster County, PA teaching school some years ago, he has recently moved from Kentucky with his family of four children. The addition of Mark to the office staff at Sheds Unlimited ensures that customers meet a friendly face on their first encounter. His jolly nature and determination to learn the ropes as quickly as possible will help to offer quality service to each individual customer. We are very grateful to the contribution Mark makes to the Sheds Unlimited family.

Wilmer King
- Production Department

Sheds Unlimited now has a second Wilmer on the production team! After two Levi's and two Steve's we thought it best to bring on board Gideon's brother Wilmer as well. Since Wilmer and his brother Gideon are part of the Amish Church, they find their way to work each day with a driver from the local community. Wilmer's hard work is increasingly becoming a great asset to the growing Sheds Unlimited family.

Glenn Kinsey
- Delivery Department

Our team could not be complete without our delivery experts. They are the link that make it possible to actually complete the job and see the building situated in the customer's yard. Glenn is one of our proficient drivers who has the opportunity to meet our customers and ensure their satisfaction. It is a great pleasure for him to see the excitement of satisfied customers when they receive their building. Back at home Glenn enjoys spending time with his wife and twin boys as they continue growing. And being the oldest in a family of eleven makes life for Glenn just a bit more interesting!

David King
- Production Department

David has been a family church friend and a familiar face around the shed industry for some years now. After working in a neighboring manufacturer, he joined our team after returning from his work with Institute for Global Opportunities in Thailand. David spent two years working among a tribe off the coast of Thailand before taking his job as an English teacher in Chiang Mai. He plans to juggle his time between college studies in preparation to return to Thailand and working with the Sheds Unlimited team.

Ivan Stoltzfoos
- Shipping Coordinator

Ivan joined the Sheds Unlimited team in 2012 as the new Shipping Coordinator. He brings with him several years of experience working in another storage shed company in the area. His experience in the building end of the industry makes him a valuable asset even beyond his responsibilities in the office. On October 2, 2012 Ivan was married to Ann. After a few weeks of honeymooning and getting aquainted to married life, Ivan was back on the job. Ivan also heads up the chicken coop department. So if you have questions on our chicken coops he will be the most knowledgable one to speak with.
